Concerns on Home School Diploma

My school is split into two once you reach year 9, there is one side which i’m on, which is for the more academic people, so they focus more on history, geography, languages etc. Then the other half are more focused on the more physical jobs like hairdressing and construction. My friend is in that half.

The option me and my friend picked was creative and media, it’s a diploma so we had people from both sides in our class. She doesn’t get as good of grades as me, and not to sound horrible but she isn’t very smart & is quite immature (e.g she still wont walk from one class to another by herself, and she wont as for help for the teacher because she’s ”too shy”). In our lesson it involves very big essays and stuff like that with very short deadlines. It’s hard work, but i get through it as im getting A’s-A*’s in English. Problem is me and her keep getting sat together, and if she doesn’t copy off me, every 5 seconds she is asking me for help. IT’S SO ANNOYING! Like once or twice i can understand but it’s just so often, i counted once, she stopped me working to help her 34 times in one hour. :l I keep getting mad and going ”I DONT KNOW JUST DO YOUR OWN WORK.” and she just gets in a sulk for a few minutes then carries on asking me for help but says sorry before she asks. which is just as bad.
One time we had a project to do over night. We got home at 4 and she came to mine, i spent from 4 till 7 helping her, then when she got home she rang me crying because she was getting frustrated so i sat till 10 talking her through what she should write and basically wrote it for her, even though i knew nothing of the topic she did. Then she got an A and took all the credit. -_-

I know most will say ”Just tell for to f- off” But sometimes she just seems so helpless and it’s like watching a carcrash in slow motion. I hate to see her fail, but i know im not doing her any good by helping her all the time. How can I make her see she has to start doing her own work and even fail if she has to without her falling out with me’
It’s vital i sort this out soon because we’ll be going to sixthform together and i don’t want to have her copying off me during our A levels :l
